29 Years! That's how long it has been since I've seen Gary. We were golfing buddies for many years when I lived in Madras, OR. It sure was nice to get to visit for a while.

These tiny eggs were less than dime size and the nest was built under the cover of a BBQ grill.

My accommodations for the evening were first class! Very comfortable! Thanks you my friends!!!

My Iron Horse got to sleep with the real horses!

A very nice set up for horses here.

I always wanted one of these!

Beautiful place to graze the horses.

Lots of area to ride the horses both indoors and out.

Heading the back way to Madras, Or I came across this gaggle of geese in a field.

The dark peppermint is a nice contrast against the safflower.

An irrigation water cannon?

A real cannon?

I'm not really sure what this place really is.

Is it even real?

Another one of my golfing buddies from days gone bye. I'm seventy, he's seventy five. We had a great time telling each other stories then forgetting what the point of the story was going to be. Glad I'm not alone.

He had 130 of these Louis L'Amore books. Told me he once mentioned that he had enjoyed read one of his books and the next day his wife had 130 of them delivered!

I built this house from scratch 40 years ago. It was kept in mint condition until 4 years ago when the new owners have let it become like a third world area. So Sad........to me.

Even the two red barns I built are in extreme disrepair.

My old factory has seen better days too!

Riding along the Deschutes River on my way to take a look at the Kah-nee-tah Golf course that I was a member of for so many years.

Wow! The Lodge and Casino has been shut down! I guess you have lived a long time when you remember it being built and also being there when it is all over. :(

Oh no, the golf course has been left to return to the earth. I stood on that tee of the par five 5th hole and hit the drive for the only double eagle I ever made in my golfing life.
Hundreds of rounds played here with many dear friends.

I guess there isn't going to be a reunion tour.

The pond guarding the front of the par four 9th now only holds the liner.

The golf cart bridge going over the Warm Springs river the the 18th tee.

Heading on up to Portland, OR via the reservation

Beautiful rock formations

I don't know what is going on with this tribe, they are letting everything decay!

I rode up to Timberline Lodge. Progress is even taking it toll there. Just not the same. OK, the sights today were a bit of a bummer to me. I hope things start looking up tomorrow.
