Riding home from ES I stopped for a little self spoiling and a nice Rib Eye

They no longer offer this guy on their menu.

This tire came apart right in front of me. I couldn't believe the millions of little pieces that sprayed all over me while the whole outer tread rolled right past the front of my bike.

I wish I knew how to capture the beauty of this scene with a camera. It just doesn't do it justice.

Long waits while they trim the trees

A fun milestone on my 1 1/2 year old bike. 13,450 miles on this two month trip.

It's always exciting on the first day of the rally. It's always a little sad on the last day. Here we are, enjoying our last ride of the week.

Seven of us dodging a slow moving tractor.

Our first stop of a very scenic ride is the Burger Barn.

It used to be run by the Burger Nazi (Think soup nazi on Seinfeld)

Now it is run by a nice young lady who takes the orders, cooks the food, and serves it. She actually does a pretty good job considering, and my burger was EXCELLENT !!!

Debbie trying this little chair on for size.

Kay and Vickie taking their turn

So we had lunch, now time for desert. Yum Yum! Blueberry Pie, Buttermilk Pie, Cherry Pie, Peanut Butter Pie, among others that were chosen.

Time for one last visit

Several were riding Spiders at this rally, but this wasn't one of them! I have no idea what kind it is.

Sherm and his midnight motorcycle supply business.

We rode to Rogers, AR for a country fried chicken dinner.

At 4:45 pm we are the only ones in the parking lot. At 5:00 pm the lot is full.

It was a very enjoyable meal served family style

My friend Nash has the most beautiful Indian I've ever laid eyes on.

He had it painted to represent things that are meaningful to him.

Very well done indeed!

In it's life it has only been washed with a hose twice.

But it is always kept meticulously clean!

Sherm needed a part so we rode to Berryville, AR and we were greeted by a shower on the return trip. Oh well, he likes riding in the rain, drinking PiƱa Colada's and all that.

When it started raining, this spider web became very noticeable

Actually beautiful

Amazingly strong

Our best visiting day so far!

Just not in the parking lot

The smoker didn't care, heck, it didn't even get wet.

The rest of us headed for cover

My friend Nash that owns the nice Indian

The three comrades that we lost this past year.

Some of the detail on his bike

Freedom

Raised in England, he served in the British Air Forced for 9 1/2 years.

Standing in line for the traditional Friday evening BBQ put on by Scott and friends!

The Police came to check out where all of the smoke was coming from but left when given a good sized sample!

Apple sauce, Pork Ribs, Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, Baked Beans, 8 or 9 deserts. I did try it all. Could be why I'm not feeling so good this morning.

It was a complete surprise when Mark and Wanda showed up for a visit! Joe and Yvette hadn't seen them for quite awhile and were really enjoying catching up!

My roommate for the last two days trying to sneak off in the wee morning hours.

Ride safe Bro

It might run better if you take that plastic bag off of your air cleaner! Hmm, I was wondering where my dirty clothes bag got off to!

I rode the historic loop through Eureka Springs this morning just to highlight some of the old architecture.

There are a lot of natural springs located throughout the city all purporting to have some special healing power.

After my loop through the city, Sherm and I took a quick ride out to War Eagle Mill

A couple pictures of me posing on the bridge

The power supply for the old Grist Mill still being used today
